I so wish I had some before pictures, because the engine looked pretty bad. I had a water leak coming from some hose that had a little sliver of seaweed in it causing water to drip onto the engine and making it rust.
I brought down a pile of hand and drill brushes and went to work. The masking took almost as much time as the prep work, but I had to do it right or it’d bother me evertime I opened the engine room.
The previous owner had left a can of the beautiful Atomic Bronze spray paint. Man, what a difference. The engine is practically brand new when we purchased SLY and now she looks like it again.
