Originally, the new chartplotter lived in the cabin next to the nav station. This is the perfect spot… when you’re inside. The old chart plotter lived there, so I thought I’d do the same, but I needed a better solution. Along comes RAM Mounts!
This thing is cast aluminum. Heavy. Solid, Durable. And plain’ old bad ass. I ran the wiring to the companionway port side and connected up the 9″ chartplotter to the dual arm RAM mount top plate. SAWEEET!! When swung inside the cabin, it folds up and rests perfectly near the cabin top. When swung out while underway, we now have full view of all this piece of tech can offer. It’s a game changer!
